Separate hardware from software
Card-sized IDs, passport books, full-page documents, barcodes, and RFID or ePassport chips are distinct requirements. Capturing an image does not necessarily extract data or authenticate a document. OCR, barcode reading, RFID, and authentication depend on the model, configuration, software, and license.
Confirm the complete package
Before ordering, confirm the exact model and part number, hardware condition, package contents, drivers, application, operating system, interface, software and licensing, availability, and warranty in writing. For an integrated deployment, test representative documents and outputs in the actual environment.
